TOLKAR R&D DEPARTMENT ONGOING
TOLKAR AŞ, which received the title of R&D Center in 2017 within the scope of Law No. 5746, has made it its mission to create technological, ecological, and economic differences with the projects it has realized in the R&D center it has established at the address of 10036 Sokak No: 6 in Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone.
Tolkar A.Ş. has continued to produce its projects as an R&D center since its first establishment date in 1988, after receiving the title of R&D center instead of engineering development studies, and sells the machines it has developed with many projects in Turkey and the world market. We continue our projects and activities with the pride, awareness, and responsibility of being a local R&D Center in the industrial laundry and textile machinery manufacturing sector.
It is aimed to complete and put into operation our factory with an area of 14.000 square meters, the construction of which was started in the Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone, in 2020, and to purchase and renovate a factory building with an area of 19,800 square meters, which we bought as a complete facility in the Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone in 2020. , we are happy to take place in one of the export and employment centers with 3 factories, growing and getting stronger with the latest technologies. Our aim is for the next generations to use our resources with corporate sustainability, and most importantly, to continue our activities and their contribution to the Turkish Economy. We believe that we will gain the most important power in this regard thanks to the contributions and awareness of being an R&D Center.
Our company produces the products developed with the R&D projects carried out in the R&D Center to create technological, ecological, and economic differences. It continues to produce successful products made in the R&D center in its production facilities where the latest production techniques, production machines, laser systems, and robotic tools are used. (5th image ) It determines its projects according to the need for a new machine, upon the demands or needs of the customer, according to the project demands for development that includes functional changes, and according to the demand and need of a new product project to be substituted for the machines to be imported. All of our projects are original, on the other hand, they are innovative and economically beneficial projects that are considered to include current and future technologies by making benchmark studies and following the technology.
It is possible to summarize the works required and done for all projects in our Tolkar Aş R&D Center as follows:
– Making 3D designs of mechanical systems.
– Designing electronic systems.
– Making engineering analysis of mechanical and electronic systems.
– Making production drawings.
– Material/equipment analysis and selection required for prototype manufacturing. All mechanical or electronic component design studies and engineering analyzes are carried out during the design, design development, and design verification stages. With the engineering analysis process, manufacturing drawings are started. After the engineering analyzes and verification studies, the analysis of the material/equipment list begins.

Tolkar AŞ is determined to carry out its projects with qualified personnel in its field in our R&D center and to continue its work more effectively by incorporating it. The staff working in the R&D center will be supported with the award regulations, with particular emphasis on the subject of master’s degree. With our Tolkar Aş R&D center, university-industry cooperation will be increased, and it will be diversified in subjects such as project preparation, graduate education, scientific publication, and qualified personnel.
